Justin & Brittany’s wedding looked nothing like they originally planned… in fact, it looked nothing like plan A, B, C, or D. 2020 is a year of going with the flow and shrugging off all the things that go “wrong”. After all, at the end of the day a wedding is about committing your life to the most important person in your life. I always feel so honoured to be able to witness that special union. Even after photographing well over 100 weddings, it never gets old to me.
After the ceremony and taking photos of family and the wedding party at Pineridge Hollow, we headed out to Bird’s Hill for some bride and groom photos. This is always my favourite part of every wedding day. We went to a beautiful trail where the couple loves to go snowmobiling in winter. (Also the same location where we did engagement photos… you can check out that blog post here.)
With all the changes and frustrations that came with planning a COVID wedding, Brittany and Justin decided to forgo the traditional reception and instead had a pool party. How fun is that?! (I wasn’t there for that part of the day, so I can only imagine it was fun.)
