Despite things turning out very different from what Chris and Abby originally envisioned, their wedding was beautiful and intimate. It was joyful and so full of emotion (I even teared up a time or two).
One of the things that stands out for me from this wedding was their music. They had amazing live music during the ceremony and reception performed by family and friends – some of the best I’ve ever heard at a wedding.
Sometimes people ask me if I get tired of listening to so many speeches… well this wedding had such meaningful, engaging speeches that I had to remind myself I was there to take pictures, not enjoy the speeches. I love getting to know couples better by listening to the speeches – hearing more of their story of how they met, how they make each other stronger and complement each other, and how thrilled their family and friends are about their marriage. I may not know Chris and Abby very well, but I could tell that they are perfect for each other.
